PHP Web Developer Job in Dorset

Beetleweb have an immediate vacancy for a PHP Web Developer Job Role, based in Dorset.  We are looking for a mid-weight or senior PHP developer to hire on a contract basis, but ideally with a view to go permanent.

Day rate is negotiable dependent on experience, as is the contract length. We are looking to expand our development team so will look to find the right terms for the right candidate.

The right person for this role will be able to immediately take on maintaining, improving, supporting and developing both existing applications and new PHP based applications without being hand held through a learning process.  There are more junior developers on the team, so there would be some scope to assist the junior developers. 

Must have skills include:

Very strong PHP

Excellent Javascript skills

Excellent HTML / CSS

Basic to advanced SQL skills

Experience of either Zend Framework or Magento.

Desirable to have experience of:

Magento 

Drupal

Zend Framework 

Doctrine

Confident working within a Unix Shell 

This contract position is available for immediate start.  The role is full time and based in our office in central Poole, Dorset.
